What is Light?

Electromagnetic radiation

—electricity and magnetism.

Light is electromagnetic radiation - electricity and magnetism. When electromagnetism moves with high frequency, the light emitted can range from Gamma rays to ultraviolet light. When electromagnetism moves with a lower frequency, infrared, radar, and radio waves are formed. Light allows us to perceive the world around us with our sense of sight. The light visible to humans moves at a medium frequency, and the color spectrum ranges from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. White light is a reflection of all visible wavelengths. Whereas the color black, absorbs all visible light.

How does Light behave?

Light moves in waves, but depending on the material it encounters, it can respond in various ways.

According to the First Law of Thermodynamics, energy cannot be created or destroyed.
Only transferred.
