What Returns
Twenty years after my first photographs of Greece marked the beginning of a digital archive, I returned to find it inaccessible. A reflection on the eternal return, impermanence, memory, and what survives the passage of time.

SUNFLOWERS require full sun. Plant 1 inch beneath soil after the last local freeze (generally March-April). Water once per week. Mature height from sowing directly in soil is expected to be 108-144” (9-12 feet) is the tallest varieties; 36-40” wide.
Small drawings on plexiglass, suspended in a 2”—deep frame so they float above the wall. As light passes through, each drawing casts its shadow onto the wall behind it, so the image appears twice. The work changes as the light changes. Each piece is a meditation on light.
